An post can be stated as the postal services which is owned by the government of Ireland. It is owned by the state and provides all sorts of postal services being situated in Ireland. An Post keeps the track of each item which comes to their postal service to get delivered to its specific destination by means of bar codes. An Post keeps the records of the barcodes of all the items and thus keep a track of all the items under its disposition. This postal service provider has the option of tracking barcode items in four different ways. The first is termed as ‘Track One’ which facilitates the searching of an item with a single barcode.

This method enables the searching of ten bar coded items together which are non sequential or non matching items. The third way is known as’ Track Range’ where one can look for identical or sequential item having ten barcodes on them. The final one is through the “Delivery Confirmation by Email’ through which you will receive an email as soon as your items get delivered to its proper destination.
